I may be wrong, but my suspicion is voter turnout on this website is extremely high.

But also aging... what we really need to be doing is ensuring our like-minded 18-25 yo kids got to the polls and vote as well!

I don't really know anything about any of the candidates. Does anyone have a link to any summaries of their policies and beliefs? Please don't say "just vote republican." As much as I can't stand most liberals, I don't agree with a lot of republicans who believe in limiting personal freedoms. I'm a libertarian, but I vote for whoever I believe has the viewpoints and intentions.

Which County you live in? Here is Bradley County Sample Ballot.

If you don't live in Bradley then just google which county you live in and sample ballot. Then Google each candidate and research them individually.
