RUGER was on a deer hunting trip in Illinois once. He was 3 days or so into the hunt and it was cold so he decided to sleep in that morning. The guide came in and jumped his tail and told him he had to be hunting. You can imagine what RUGER probably said to him.
He called Bobby and said if you'll come get me I'll buy you a case of beer and you can drink on the way home. Bobby hopped in the car and drove to Illinois and got him.
Bobby had the case of beer drank by the time they got home

What a pair! Never knew what from come out of their mouths @ the LBL deer camps but it was always a hoot. Glad to have known both and shared several LBL moments. RIP
