Man and I went to the 1,000 acre lake today
Between the two of us we caught 37 bass and the biggest was a 4# 10 ounce slob
Bonus of 15 GOOD shellcrackers off the bed.
Saw two bald eagles too.

Best part was I spent about 6 hours in the boat with my son.

nice slob bass. :tu: ive noticed a lot of folks post you tube videos fishing around those power lines. must be a hotspot.

Yeah there is a creek that runs through there, plus an old road bed.
Back in the back, past the powerlines there are a couple "ponds" that they dug to hold the fish in before they started actually filling the lake as well.
We just beat the bank down through there on our second stop of the day.
There are some bream & shellcracker beds scattered around the area too.
