Good Hunt

Finally had a morning today where I didn't have to be anywhere by a certain time and could actually hunt without feeling rushed. Had a couple get away on me…one was on the edge of a hollow part of the trunk when I shot and didn't realize it until after I shot him. The other fell off the tree within two feet of a hole I couldn't dig him out of and was just alive enough to make it down in there. Other than that I had a dandy morning. Saw plenty of squirrels, a bunch of turkeys, and quite a few deer as well. Should get to do it one more time next week before deer season starts.

It's probably the best rifle I own. It's definitely the most accurate .22 I have and it's a breeze to carry it around.

Good deal. I have the Carbon BMR but have it set up with a scope to target shoot out to 300 yards. Am toying with the idea of buying a steel one to put a small scope on and use for squirrel hunting.
