good news and bad news

good news, during the recent hatch all fish collected were all types of baitfish according to WKF and TWRA. the bad news, fishermen have netted young of the year carp as well as WKF on KY lake and Barkley but they were isolated and not like the 2015 spawn.

they've started shipping asian carp to Maine for lobster bait and KY is going to test out the "unified" method to see how it works on our lakes.

yep. those nets they use for that method are 800 yards long by 30 ft deep. they could easily be used on the mid section of the lake, but they are only going to test them in the winter. i dont know how that will work out.

I had heard the young of the year carp were netted in the tail waters of both reservoirs, but not in the reservoirs themselves.

according to the video i understood as both and the tennessee river. she didnt display a map so who knows.

i have video of what appears to be young carp that was shot between trace creek and white oak on may 18.
