They have put a real hurt on the rabbit hunting in Tennessee..20 years ago you could bag 20 rabbits a day with a good group hunting..Now your lucky if you can bag 5 or 6 a day with a good group.

I'd say we need a $5 credit towards next year's license cost for every coyote hide you can turn in.

they hurt deer, especially in the first few weeks of life and n deer that are already injured or dying. but could not kill in a cold blood a healthy adult of either sex.

Last year on opening day of rifle season, I watched a pack of 6 attacking a nice 1.5 yr old 6 pt that I had watched several times during ML season. That morning he had a fresh tear across his back and the pack cornered and encircled him twice before they finally ran out of my field. I wish I had opened fire. But that was proof to me that coyotes will in fact go after a healthy deer and do it coordinated with others.
