Good season so far

I just re-read the stories when it hit me.

You mean to say that you used a decoy on one setup and then used a fan to reap another one :o ? And you call yourself a turkey hunter :) !

BTW, while re-reading, you mentioned staying on the one until 2:00. You have more patience/stubbornness than me. Why, I bet even the "real" turkey hunters on here wouldn't have done that ;) :D !
 
Congrats on a heck of a season already! Also a big congrats on reaching 100. That's a great accomplishment right there!

Many many days I leave the truck before daylight and don't get until dark. Especially on public land.
 
Decoys, gobbles, or fanning, I try my normal tactics and then if I have to think outside the box I will. The day this week that I didn't kill one was a long day. If I go somewhere to turkey hunt I give it 110%, as in don't expect me until supper j less I tag one. While everyone else is having a sandwich at camp I'm hunting. I take a snack and some water every time I leave the truck. Ain't nothing I enjoy more than turkey hunting so if it takes all day or 5 days I just get more enjoyment.
