really surprising, the weather has been perfect. no fungus or pests so far. not one nare horn worm.

Horn worms are wearing my tomatoes out! Picked one yesterday. Picked 7 today. That's more in 2 days than I've picked since I've been growing tomatoes! Don't know why they are so bad here this year.
A dry June is good if you irrigate.

Chickens love to peck and pull them apart and eat them. Its fun to watch and very satisfying if you have chickens...if not, they make a large wet spot when you stomp them...which is also satisfying.

Our tomatoes are just getting going good here. Jetstars, Romas, and Cherokee purple. First time planting Cherokee and Romas. Also had a couple volunteer chocolate cherry plants that I transplanted from bean rows to tomato rows.
