How in the round world do these muzzleloader manufacturers get by with these breech loaded " muzzle " loaders ?? If they are legal then why not just legalize straight wall calibers ? Traditions had one that has the same thing as a bullet .

They are always pushing the boundaries. I remember when everyone got their panties in a wad over in-lines. I was not one of those panty-wadders, and bought an in-line early on, but I have to say, I think "Muzzleloader Season" should be for muzzle-loading rifles, not breech-loading or cartridge guns.

They "get away with it", because the bullet still has to be loaded from the muzzle. Straight wall cartridge argument is just a weird one to me. They are fully loaded cartridge not even considered a primitive weapon at all. I have a cva crossfire, it saves me maybe a couple of seconds on a reload. It is loaded with 777 powder. The big advantage is it is weather proof.
