If I didn't love bow hunting so much, I'd agree. If I could have a rifle in my hand 10/1, I wouldn't bow hunt again. Wouldn't be able to fathom a mature buck 50 yards through the timber hunting with a bow, knowing I could have had a gun in my hand. A step further, I wouldn't muzzleloader hunt anymore either. It'd be sold. I love bow and REALLY love muzzy, but I'll always have the most optimum weapon in my hand after a mature deer. I can't restrain myself. Though, I'd say soon I'll be in the CWD zone (being it is my bordering county) and muzzy will be obsolete.Which is why I've often said - only somewhat jokingly - just start deer season October 1, end it December 31, and let hunters choose whatever weapon they want (on private land).
