Got a question...

Which is why I've often said - only somewhat jokingly - just start deer season October 1, end it December 31, and let hunters choose whatever weapon they want (on private land).
If I didn't love bow hunting so much, I'd agree. If I could have a rifle in my hand 10/1, I wouldn't bow hunt again. Wouldn't be able to fathom a mature buck 50 yards through the timber hunting with a bow, knowing I could have had a gun in my hand. A step further, I wouldn't muzzleloader hunt anymore either. It'd be sold. I love bow and REALLY love muzzy, but I'll always have the most optimum weapon in my hand after a mature deer. I can't restrain myself. Though, I'd say soon I'll be in the CWD zone (being it is my bordering county) and muzzy will be obsolete.

I wouldn't mind seeing a week of pistol season right before modern gun. And let's not forget the atlatl. Video is a 7 year old hunting and killing a deer with an atlatl.

How in the round world do these muzzleloader manufacturers get by with these breech loaded " muzzle " loaders ?? If they are legal then why not just legalize straight wall calibers ? Traditions had one that has the same thing as a bullet .
Bribery to the DNR's and legislation….. easy!
