Got my DXT up for sell

AirMan is correct...ArcheryTalk is good for buying but because of that, it's horrible for selling. Case in point with my 82 Airborne I sold last week. I had it on ArcheryTalk for the past few weeks and only had a few tire kickers. In those few weeks, there was no less than 5 other 82nds on there, and what always happens is that somebody will reduce their bow lower than everyone else for a quick sell, then from that point on, you just about have to sell it for the price they got out of theirs.

I was asking $350 for mine on ArcheryTalk before I moved it to eBay. I put it on there for week auction and a Buy It Now price of $350. The bow sold in 4 hours from a Buy It Now person. I wish I would have asked $375-$400 Buy It Now price now. Cause a bow shipped and insured via UPS ground is gonna run you at least $25....plus dealing with PayPal's 3% reduction and eBay listing/selling fees. I basically gave the bow away for $300.

Yeah face to face is good for cash to hand transactions but I think it's the hardest way to sell anything and for sure the most dangerous. You just about have to know somebody personally that is looking for what you have or put it on C-List or newspaper ads. Then you are forced to go meet somebody that you've never met before and know nothing about :) If they meet you at your house they know where you live. If they meet you out some place, you don't know if they might bring some friends and jump you or follow you home, etc. Of course I carry everywhere I go anyway and don't trust hardly anybody. So for me it's much easier to move stuff on line, unless I'm selling something to a co-worker or what not.

yep,I've found great bows on Archery talk. And many great Hd and LD ARROW Rests, sights as well.Great to buy from there but you cant sell on there as well.I buy and sell on Archery talk alot and BASSBOATCENTRAL as well.Never have any troubles with getting my $ or the items.I always just insure everything I ever sell no matter what.i EXCEPT paypal or a postal money order for everything.I still think a MATHEWS switchback bow is a great deal on Archery Talk for around $300 with some goodies.

Ask them to meet you in your local police department's parking lot :D I told my wife one time that if she ever felt like she was being followed drive to the nearest police station.
