Got my first turkey!

Thanks everyone. At first, I just wanted to get my first turkey and spend the rest of Spring fishing. After this, I'm counting down the days until the April 16th-17th weekend which is when I plan to go get another one and hopefully my Father will be joining me. For a bird that has such an ugly face, they sure do have some beautifully colored feathers!

I'm still a bit sad about my GoPro cutting off right before the kill. I took a hop step and threw a fist pump that could have killed Mike Tyson and all of that emotion is not on film.

First duck and then a bunch more after that! Yes this hunting season has been a lot of firsts and I'm glad I took up this hunting thing. I have the bug and I'm officially a hunter now. 1st deer, 1st duck(s), 1st turkey. I'm only going to get better and provide myself and my wife with more and more truly organic protein.
