I wish LBL, closest place to me with hogs, would let me get one or two a year for my venison summer sausage.

Circle trap that drops from the sky. WAIT until you have them all in the trap before you hit the drop button. You may be able to call USDA and have one their guys come out and do it for you.

We had that problem 12ish years ago. Twra didn't hesitate and got rid of them immediately. I hope I never ever see one on our places ever in my lifetime again.

USDA traps, on our lease, at least twice a year (multi day process) and does a great job. We, the members, try our best to kill as many as we can. Last year, 2023, we had 73 trapped and/or killed. They come back each year. You cant get rid of them, only contol them.

I'll add, also get an exemption from TWRA. This allows hunting at night, trapping, and baiting. It states that baiting is allowed even during big game season. USDA built a trap on my place that appears to be permanent. They come in when I call and begin the process.

True. We have that exemption as well. I have never hunted them at night but one day would like to give it a try.

If you could kill momma while they are still that little…. the piglets will hang around and be pretty dumb while you kill them all. Cruel but it works
