Grab and die set?

I did a little bit researching after watching that video, and some of these guys doing videos are using peat moss with no pan cover or polyfill. One video though the guy said he missed a catch on one with a fox where too much of the peat moss got under his pan. Interesting idea, I may have to try.

They dry their peat all year after sifting.

Peat moss won't keep a pan from going down, you need a lower pan tension on canine traps if wanting to be consistent with fox. If targeting gray fox run even less pan tension, they will dance all over a 3lb pan.

My primary target is coyotes. I really have little interest in catching anything else.
