Grab and die set?

Have any of you guys ever ran one? Or even heard about it? I'll post link below. I have not ran one yet.

I may have to try that. I have had my best luck with step downs. Did I miss it or did he not use any polyfil or pan cover?

We use it quite a bit no real noticeable difference. We catch just as many setting against a stump or just some sort of backing

I have not perfected the step down set yet. I get frustrated with the shape or size or depth of the hole. Or can't get it bedded.

I did a little bit researching after watching that video, and some of these guys doing videos are using peat moss with no pan cover or polyfill. One video though the guy said he missed a catch on one with a fox where too much of the peat moss got under his pan. Interesting idea, I may have to try.

They dry their peat all year after sifting.
