My grandson killed his first archery buck this year and I was blessed to be with him for it. It was his first time to hunt in tree stand (hunting box blinds prior). I think he might be ruined. He shot this buck with a crossbow at 42 yards and made a perfect shot (entry hole looks back but he was quartering away). He is 10 years old and I believe I have gained a hunting partner for the rest of my life! I have a video of us right after the shot of him shaking ( and me a little too) with a pretty good case of buck fever, but I am having trouble getting it to load on the thread.
