Got this excellent "chase" video. It's hard to tell in the video but the deer that goes by prior to the nice buck appearing was also a smaller buck. I was surprised the big guy "gave up the chase." I'm guess the does weren't really hot. The younger buck was just driven by "wishful thinking." Or maybe he too was scared of the bigger buck?
BTW, this was Tuesday, the day it rained hard here. I opted to stay inside warm and dry. I went here Wednesday (not having seen this video at the time). Of course I saw zilch on Wednesday. Timing is everything in life.
