Gun and load

Ill be using a new Mossberg 500...just field model with a 28" barrel. I have the 3 chokes it came with at the moment...but will probably get something more than the "full" it comes with. I still have lots lots to learn by that time.
 
rem 1100, 28", 3" #5's.

if the bird don't come within 30 yards, ain't going to shoot. I've left the field frustrated, but for me it's about calling them in.
 
I think we measured it at 36 when We first started using it. I said yard long as an exaggeration, it seems to have snowballed from there...
 
Actually going to have a semi offical turkey gun this year after buying a new duck gun.

in all honesty I'm not sure why I'm going through so much. Last year it killed at close to 50 (although not a lot of shot and lucky bc I thought the bird was about 40) and really rolled one at 18 steps. If you do it right and they play they game it doesn't take much.
