Gun season.

If I choose to hunt gun season with a muzzleloader (have permit). Do I need to purchase the gun season permit also?

I just went through this in Missouri. We bow hunted three days then it was gun season. There you can bow hunt in gun season with just archery permit. I didn't know that. Not sure if it's the same here

I recall being told that the license follows the hunter, not the season. So if you're archery, archery only. MZ, MZ only. If you do both, you need both.

That's why I buy the Sportsman, so I don't have to think about anything.

License the weapon, not the season. "Gun season" includes both archery and muzzleloader.
