Hamilton County Rut

Rubs and scrapes popped up in the last week in Harrison. Saw a 6 point this morning with nose to the ground acting crazy where 2 does were about 30 minutes before. Also saw a yearling 3 point that was on a mission.

Saw small 6pt chase 2 does this morning and a small 4pt moving around by himself this evening.

In Birchwood had a bigger bodied 6 chasing and harassing two does in the field this evening. Saw him last weekend crusing and he tore up a cedar tree good. The doe was kinda circling him.

My buddy seen 7 does yesterday and nothing else. Who knows

Where is the rut all does I see crossing my yard no bucks in sight see them feeding on side of the road when I go to work but nothing with a rack around

I think its just the small bucks messing around right now. The big ones aren't up on their feet yet

Seen 8 does this morning 5 on 58 feeding on side and 3 on Birchwood walking across in front of me had to stop so I would not hit one nothing seen with horns following them maybe the cold weather will stay a few days to get them going

The good 8 I killed was hot on the trail of a doe, Monday before Thanksgiving. Saw a couple more 8's the next day cruising. Seq Co.

Still not seeing any rubs or scrapes in Soddy Daisy. Am I the only one confused, seams like the does are behind.

Planning on buying some land in the Soddy Daisy area wondering how good the deer herd is in the area?

Not much rut activity yet on signal mountain. Doe are still in large groups feeding together. Trail cam pics mostly at night. Very few scrapes and rubs. Etc etc..

I am on signal. Have seen one buck just after dark on the road. Need a cold front to change behavior
