Harbor freight has its heat gun for $9.99. Went up to 2 years ago to $15.99. Excellent for starting a grill or using for anything else a heat gun would be used for. Best price on 2 years.

That's what I was wondering- an electric heat gun to light a flame?
I had the same thought and wondered if there was something called a heat gun different than what I thought in my head. Checked their website and only saw what I was thinking of and not sure how that would start a grill.

They go on sale now and then, and they put out a 30% off coupon not too long ago. They work good, I've stripped paint off of porch columns with it, used with heat shrink, and just a few days ago to melt the drain hole from the freezer as well.

It was $9 or $10 last night when I looked.
Bought 2. You can use them to start your lump charcoal or you can buy the $79 Weber or $99 green egg starter that is the same thing. I've used one for 10 years. Don't have the nasty smoke from the little cubes you lite or the paper towel soaked in oil. Can have my egg redhot in less that 2 minuets.
