A few of my buddies and I joke around about deer like this. Every year we say we aren't going to stick one like that with a bow, every year one of us does.

He's a good deer that would be even better with another year on him but who cares, if he makes you happy, let him have it.
 
He definately will get stuck if he passes by. The 8 pt I killed last year had the same characteristic sweeping back g2 on his right side like this buck.

That buck will never have a good spread but he could get a lot taller and heavier. I've seen some huge bucks with 14-15" spreads. Even if your all about score, spread is one of the least important factors.
