anyone shot these arrows? was looking into the HT1 or HT2 arrows to try out this year.

the HT1 seem to fit in what i like (smaller diameter arrow like the epic or axis)but these come with an 85 grain insert in the front. seems like alot of weight on the front of an arrow once you put a broadhead on it. Can see how that may be nice for hunting though.

the Ht2 are your standard size arrows with regular inserts.

anyways let me know if anyone on here has shot these arrows and what you think about them and also what you think about an 85grain insert in the front of one.

(i can see how it may help if you think about throwing darts and how front weighted they are)

They are making new inserts for the HT1 arrows that weigh 25 grains that supposed to be available the end of this month I think.

i mean am i wrong to think 85 grains in the front is a bunch of weight for a small arrow. i really wonder how much it will effect arrow flight

overall i have heard great things about harvest time and their arrows.

That is alot of forward weight in any arrow, in addition to the broadhead. Of course I know nothing about these, but with that heavy of weight up front I would think it would make flight characteristics difficult to manage and your pin gaps will be huge because the front of the arrow will pull the entire arrow down much quicker than what your using. However, I would think they would hit like a freaking sledgehammer, as long as flight is relatively unaffected.

Would it be possible to get just one and let's play around with it and see what it does before you dump a bunch of money in something that may not work?

i got 6 coming from a buddy so i will test them out with those and see....if i dont like the flight i will go with the HT2 which are getting awesome reviews.

i am interested in the 25 grain insert though, that would be more integrating to me then the 85 grain.

Just a suggestion but you might not want to install all the 85g inserts at once just maybe one to see how it performs. You can always get the new ones for the other 5 when they come out.
