Could have been injured from a fight or no telling what else, didn't look to me like he had a wound.

My bet goes on fighting-related injury.
I'm truly shocked at the number of fighting-related injuries I've seen in the last couple of years. By the end of this season, I would guess 75% of our older bucks were limping on a front leg. Not yearling bucks and not does, just older bucks.
