Have you ever hunted ;
In the open on the ground?
Hunt from a climber?
Hunted from a treestand elevated?
Hunted from a shooting hub or house?
Hunted from a saddle?
Hunted a ground blind?
Hunted in a brush blind?
Been on a deer drive?
Hunted with dogs?
Hunted a food plot?
Hunted over bait or feeder?
Hunted from a vehicle?
Hunted from a helicopter?

I can say I've had the pleasure of doing all minus 1 a saddle never tried one. Hunted all these ways either deer or hog hunting. Please add to the list. I may have missed one or two.

I've done about half of the list and of that half about half I enjoyed enough to do again. The only one I've not done but want to do is the helicopter hunt for pigs. That looks like it could be fun.

What I enjoy most is scouting & gathering enough intel on an old buck to tighten the noose enough to get me in bow range for a shot at him on his turf, not in a food plot or pile of corn. When it works out it is by far the most satisfying sense of accomplishment I get from hunting. And when it happens on the ground it's the most exciting.

I will tell you hog hunt from a helicopter is cool. My brother lives in Texas and has a connection with a friend. We try every time I get to Texas. A must do. .223 AR works great.

All but the saddle and the helicopter. Well no I never actually hunted over a feeder. And as far as bait goes, I have not shot any deer over actual food because I don't use bai per se. I have shot a few deer that were on their way towards some stinky attractants that I poured out though!

Yea, I'm think I'm to old for a saddle.😉

no "shooting house", no saddle, no drive, no dogs ( for deer), no feeder or bait, nor vehicle or copter. no blind for deer/turkeys either. had a guy in Ridgefields ask me to shoot some of the deer eating his garden once. said i could sit in a folding chair inside of his garage, or "hide" behind the basketball backboard on its roof... i'd love to hammer hogs from a copter, but i'd want to harvest the meat too. meat is too good to let rot; pretty sure wasting food is a sin.

used to hunt on a guys farm on VA border. he renovated part of an old house out in one of his pastures for him to "hunt" from. he'd sit and drink coffee & fry breakfast in between tours of the house looking out the windows for deer.
