lol I actually didn't have to sit very long. But running around only really works when something's actually gobbling.... Otherwise I just bump turkeys and make myself mad. Lol
 
I have been there Cat. I didn't have a mentor at first, I learned by doing EVERYTHIING wrong, mostly on public ground. I bumped them off the roost, out I fields and in the woods. I didn't shoot when they were in range, I moved when I should have state put. I swore I'd give them up ten times in the first two years, it was my third season before I shot a longboard. Enjoy the process, you will look back fondly at anything you do wrong right now.

and I will still mess up sometimes when I'm 65 years old. :D
