He looks sick.. Any suggestions

He only looks "mangey" because he is shedding from his summer red coat to his winter grey coat. Nothing wrong with him at all.

Thanks Guys, Hopefully i can keep him around a couple years. I'm just getting back into hunting and this is the first time i've used trail cameras. By the time i see them, they are in my scope and its full winter time. Excuse the ignorance,,

Not "ignorance" at all. This question is asked multiple times every year. Most hunters don't see deer at this time of year (molting).

The only dumb question is the one you don't ask, Clay. Ask away, man! We are family and all here to help each other out. Never feel bad about asking. Good luck this season.
Wear a safety harness!

Probably alright..Mange in white-tailed deer is caused by a mite known as Demodex odocoilei that is only found on whitetails. Demodetic mange causes hair loss that is often accompanied by the thickening of the skin in the affected areas. Mange is usually rare in whitetails. The lesions are confined to the skin of the animal and do not affect the muscles. Once the animal has been skinned, the meat is edible.
