Interesting how an over the counter drug that you can buy at the GNC or on EBay can get you banned for a year in college football.... :)

Lol,what was his excuse for using it,did he thank it was cough medicine :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:

Nope.. He actually owned up to it and stated that he didn't check with UFs trainers first. He also stated that he learned from his mistake and that others can learn by it also..... :)

Grier is manning up and taking responsibility for his mistake and not like a lot of athletes that deny their wrong doing.... :tu:

R.I.P. Pig Howard.....

Serious question-if he is suspended, that means he can't practice, correct?

He can practice with the team. Just can't play or travel with the team. I see this suspension being reduced considering the NCAA's track record.... :tu:

Seems to me that over the counter stuff would be okay by the NCAA. Grier is a tough kid.

You would think but there are actually stuff that you can get over the counter that's banned in college and Pro sports...

How did this drug start getting named everywhere in the Grier reports. Did some reporter just randomly pick Ligandrol (out of all the 100's of ped's out there) and associated it with Grier.

As far as Mcmurphy saying it wasn't Ligandrol based on what the university is saying, well of course the university is going deny it. Because if Ligandrol is confirmed, then Mcelwain blatantly lied by saying it was a GNC supplement as Ligandrol is not a substance GNC sells or can legally sell. Also if Ligandrol is confirmed, then the integrity of their wins gets put in question.

So UF and Grier have every reason to deny it was Ligandrol and not release any further information.

Come on baddnole. You know that with nutritionist, dietitians and strength trainers on the staff, a place where every meal and exercise routine is scientifically mapped out, GNC is the place to go.

Bianchi was on Finebaum yesterday. He wasn't buying the excuses :D !

I know, I know, he's a Gator hater. Wonder if that's why Paul had him on :D ?

So what he took and ncaa said was a substance in it was illeagal was actually legal up until this year. Hummm I could see them reducing the suspension for the rest of the year only. We will see how this plays out. OSU's Joey Bosa got caught doing roids and was suspended for two games. Imagine that

Coach Mac stance on Wills choice...

"We all make choices.....at the end of the day, there are consequences for those choices!"
This I do know.....Will Grier knew that he should have cleared the product he was using with the trainers!
End of discussion! Move on! Treon is our QB.....and he will lead the team and the team will rally around him!

Read on facebook this morning he took an over the counter flu medicine and it will be appealed. :D
