MOST retail stores you might think should have them, DON'T.

Apparently the idea of using smaller shot just hasn't caught on yet with many turkey hunters. But for those of us who eat our turkeys and only go for head shots, you can actually extend your effective range with any of the #7 "heavier than lead" offerings.

I've "minimized" some of the shipping two ways:

One, if you're ordering some other stuff, add some shells to your order.

Two, order from a place that doesn't charge you sales tax. Sometimes the shipping can be less than sales tax.

Cabela's has the straight 7's in 12 gauge (but not in 20).
Seems I get a "$20 off a $150 order" frequently from Cabela's, and no sales tax to TN residents.
