I am not a big fan of Seaguar Red Label either but others seem to like it.

I forgot to mention this. Red Label has a pretty good following but I absolutely hated it.

Just posted on another thread, but I have Red label on 90% of my reels and not because of cost. I like it better than most fluorocarbons. I do recommend getting a good one to try, and one without memory is critical on spinning reels. I use 6, 8, and 10 on a spinning reel with no issues. If I need bigger than that on a spinning reel, I use 30 lb braid with a fluoro leader. I used 15lb and 20 lb on a baitcaster with no issues as well.
