How do you have the most luck with them?

I have never gotten a hit on a steady retrieve.

I got some of them, but my go to lures are little Cleos and Thomas Buoyants. Usually in red and gold. Many times over in Arkansas use the same one for three days in row. Just sharpen hooks each time after several fish. Course I have been known to throw and lose several on a trip.

LOL nobody has lost more of them in the White than me.... and I did that in 2 trips.

I got to watch like 4 or 5 trout at a time follow it to the boat and watch them turn and leave then come back and nail it several times the last time i was at the white.

In current, the same way or sometimes a really fast retrieve works good too. My best results are in deep holes where I can jig them vertically, pop up and let it fall. They'll strike on the fall.
