Lol...ain't nuthin wrong with that! I see folks doing it all the time. 
It might cause me to use one of those BAITCASTER things.... which I have never used!!
As a child growing up in Pascagoula, my dad wouldn't let me go "serious" fishing with him until I could sling a Garcia baitcaster. I learned at about 8 or 9 and we would go chase the specs and reds in Bangs Bayou just outside of town. Great memories shared with my pops.
Always in awe of guys that can cast ONE OF THOSE THINGS....
