Holler at Me When It’s Deer Season

My mom is from Cheyenne Wells CO, which is right by KS. Beautiful pic and the West is God's country. I spent many summers out that way as a kid.
My son lives out near Cheyenne Wells, in Eads, CO. A couple of weeks ago after our ML season ended, he went with his buddy to state land just east of Lamar and his buddy got a real nice buck antelope, with a traditional sidelock at 150 yds.
I live west of I-25 out in the mountains.

At my place, because it's high ridge-country surrounded by low bottoms and cold air settles into the valleys, we still haven't had a frost. Coldest temperature we've had was 35.2 degrees. Doesn't look like we will get a hard freeze or even a frost until December. THAT is something I've never seen before.
