Honda pioneer 700-4

I love mine but to be fair 90% of it is a glorified golf cart on pavement. I bought mine with a roof and windshield from Honda. If I could do it again I would have got a windshield that flips up. It's hot during the day with the windshield on and at night it's cool or the bugs get in your teeth with it off. I spend too much time taking it off and on. It not a tough job but it does get old

I have a 500 , got the emp roof and a cheap plexi ebay windshield in 2018 . Still kickin. Fyi that emp roof saved my bacon when a large limb crashed on me once. It's aluminum and I use it regularly as a ladder 🪜

I really like the idea of that EMP roof. I can't figure out if the 700 version will cover the cab area of the 700-4 or not without modification. I may try to figure that out today.

I had a 700 with a roof and flip out window. You could open it all the way or just a few inches to get airflow. Buddy built me a custom cab for it to lower the profile so the roof nor windshield would work. I left the bottom half on and put a metal top he made for it to cover. Sold it to nephew and he's still driving it like that.

I have the factory hard roof, would never choose the soft roof. I have the automotive glass windshield, wish it tilted out but the tilt out option was with a plastic windshield which scratches easily and every scratch is a dirt trap or glare and soon your replacing it. The tilt out option does help keep dust down and heat out but are short lived.
I will add that my pioneer 700 is far from a glorified golf cart! I have a trailer to haul wood, feed, hay, posts, blinds, stands and much more. Another trailer for my 10 ft Jon boat and motor I use for pond maintenance. I have a 25 gallon sprayer with 12 feet of boom, I have a seed / fertilizer spreader that both plug into a power source on the Honda and perform those tasks including hauling additional supply over any terrain you wish. It will take me, my passenger, my cargo and more into places you got no business being in. It will run hard all day without worrying about fuel, ….
Sorry about the rant but not sorry

Roof yes factory hardtop unless you can find an old plastic truck Bedliner to fashion you own.

Windshield yes glass

I just purchased the Super ATV flip out windshield for my Pioneer 1000-5. I went with the factory Honda roof. Like Gravey said you can fully close or open it or open just enough to get air flow. I have purchased a couple things from this site, light bar and mount, seat belt over ride wiring harness.

My 1000 has the flip out windshield and it really makes a difference with airflow. Oh and thanks for the link to the online store....now I see more stuff that I "need"!
