Hope Alabama can survive their season openers

Ive always loved the "schedule" talk, like FL/LSU/UGA etc doesnt have the same basic teams on their schedule.

having said that I really wish college football would get way from these Power5 teams playing D2 or a joke of D1 teams each year

that's the thing, if it was they wouldn't schedule them. Alabama will PAY teams like Mercer to come play, which is why those teams do it.
It's more about not getting beat up each week and taking a huge risk to lose and be out of the race. In that sense I suppose it is about the money in the end
