Got a series of cell cam pics this morning that had me believing i should have at least one shed antler in my plot. I have found very few despite putting on many miles on my boots walking my farm every year.
Both sides at 3:47 am.

Still there with both sides at 4:19 am.

Back with just one side at 4:39 am.

As he walks off, he holds his head sideways for several frames until he gets out of range.

He was gone from camera range for all of 19 minutes. I walked a grid of the plot and no luck, walked the edges of the woods, and most the main trails and no luck. Walked most of the rest of the field the plot is in and no luck. Any tips or advice? Possible the antler got hung on the other buck, or maybe a coyote picked it up already? How likely is it the other side also dropped this morning?

Man I have no idea. I've never found a shed by searching for them and only found a few by accident. My brother on the other hand can't step into the woods or field without finding a shed or arrowhead or something else cool. But not me. If they were snakes I'd been dead long ago.

Spent another hour and 15 minutes this morning and only covered a mile. Had took a break between working on cleaning up some brush with the tractor and doing a little dirt work. Again turned up nothing.
got a buddy that can spot them while spreading fertilizer he finds a ton
After finishing up with the tractor thought maybe I should ride down the center of the plot. Didn't see anything in the plot, but in the field just outside the plot where I don't know how I didn't step on it, there it lay.

Nicest shed i have found on our little farm. Guess I need to ride around looking from the tractor more. He should have dropped his other side side by now.
Cool footage. Hope you find them. Also wondered if squirrel or coyote might make off with them.?
I would imagine between them, that they probably get most of them around here.
