Posted this in the Serious Forum, but thought some might only see these here. I don't know what it is, but I've probably caught more sparring matches on camera this year than all previous years combined:

It's the same where I'm hunting this year. I've got dozens of pictures of deer sparring, including these from 2 nights ago. The deer on the left is a good one. Maybe once the season is over I'll compile them.

I heard some sparring this morning not 100 yards from where this picture was taken.

One day ill be able to whiteness this in person I hope. Cool pics.

I saw it for the first time last year. It was a spike and 4pt going at it. It was in the field behind my house, and I'm in the city limits. I've never seen it on a hunt. Good luck.

Great pics BSK!!

I've watched two little fork horned 4's throwdown and two decent 8's go at it this year from the stand.

I think they are so fat and sassy all the way from the lack of winter and early greenup this past spring, to the super bountiful mast crop of every type they have been enjoying ever since! The deer should be in GREAT shape this season! We should have a STRONG rut imo!

Perhaps the ole Heavy acorn theory kicking in Bsk?.....being a major contributor to intense rut activity?

I've had a few sparring pics as well, mostly young deer. I actually heard this lil scuffle as it was happening Friday morning, just didn't realize it was taking place in front of my cam :)
