How does it work?

I just saw that the odds on the TN/OSU were OSU favored by 7.5, with the over under at 47 points. What does that mean, the over under that is.
The book makers believe the total combined number of points scored by both teams will be 47 points (e.g. the score might be 27 to 20). A person can bet that the total points will be over this amount or bet that it will be under that amount.

This game will be won or lost by the TN Oline! I think the teams are pretty evenly matched. I expect TN wins by 1 score. Like 21 -17.

I think the weather is going to play a big factor in the passing game for both teams. So a LOW score on both sides probably in the low 20's for the winner OSU !

so pass first OSU will make out better in bad weather than run a first VOLS team?
OSU is use to playing in Northern Temps. If you have never spent time in the North its NOT like spending time in the south on a cold bitter day.. Heck the vol players were whining like kindergartners at the Georgia game when their bench heaters were not working on a 55 degree night. I cannot imagine how they are going to Handle the Northern temps when they start dipping into the 20's. :)

60% of their staters are from warm climate states.
OSU has a standing moratorium on home games at night after October. Not only have they not played at night this year, they make their conference promise them that they won't have to play at night. Because it's cold.

They're not 65 year old pansies. Obviously you've never played any sports before.
