How does Oregon do it?

Recruiting is important, but so are several other things. There are plenty of teams with top 10 recruiting classes every year that haven't played for the National Championship.

Name a team thats had a top 10 recruiting class EVERY year. That's never played for a N/C in the last 15-20 years or so? Im not disagreeing with you but I have seen you post this before and I would like to know the answer :?: that would be a pretty dang good trivia question lol

I'm sure there is a team some were but I think of.
Bama
Florida
Ohio st.
FSU
LSU
Auburn
Texas

All these teams have won a N/C since 1998 all teams are real good at recruiting bama has 3, florida has 2 ,FSU has 2, Even the vols had one (1998) and i'm gonna guess they had a couple good recruiting classes before they won the N/C as well:) so that covers the last 16 years. And ohio st may win again in 2015 to cover 17 years. From 1998-2015

I just cant think of a team who has had a top 10 class over and over and Never played in a N/C game maybe Georgia?

Actually none of those teams have had top 10 recruiting classes every year for the last 10 years. According to Rivals, Alabama has since 2007(8 consecutive years).
I am not saying recruiting isn't very important, but there is a ton of talent in places like LSU, FL, USC, Michigan, Miami, Auburn, Georgia, Texas, Oklahoma, etc...and they aren't all having 10+ winning seasons every year.
