the guys out west are stating that since "black powder" cartridges are of such low velocity that 100 reloads are easily possible if the brass is kept clean, I guess I learned something new today, lol

do you anneal your brass, I do for my .40-65

I've heard some of those guys don't resize....maybe just an ever so slight crimp to hold the bullet in.

DaveB said:CL, That FPS is a surprise, with the annealing you will get probably around 50 and up firings. How often you trim? Isn't this the rifle you are getting that amazing accuracy with, out to 300 yards? I must be on wrong brain thread here.
