How to take on WMA birds?

And don't forget turkeys can almost see 360 degrees in all directions at any given time, I think its around 320 degrees to be exact, so choose every move wisely

Dang yeah turkeys can see really well...that same flock that I snuck up on, about 15 minutes before I started stalking, I was in the edge of the woods and they were at least 100 yards out in the field, maybe more...I made a slight move and I saw heads pop up.

I don't have much of a need to sneak in to 30 yards. I will be happy with 100 honestly. I just want to be out there where I know turkeys are in the vicinity and call some old gobbler in, whatever is the best I can do on public land.

Yep, just enjoy every second of turkey season you can, it seems to fly by so quick, and honestly man, I have had turkey travel over a mile to come to my calls, so anything within 300 yds should produce almost the same results, because if he is with hens, he will normally just fly down where ever they go anyways, and if he isn't, if you haven't alarmed him, or called to him while he is in the tree( other than maybe a COUPLE very very soft tree yelps) then he should come your direction, but turkeys are unpredictable, just gotta stick with it
