The SEC finished 7-5 this bowl season, the most wins for any conference this year and the second highest winning percentage in the country. The Pac 12 went 6-2 in bowls, the "resurgent" Big Ten went 5-5, the ACC went 4-7 and the Big 12, erstwhile challenger for top conference in football according to some, went just 2-5. The SEC was one win away from setting an all-time record for conference bowl wins. If LSU's touchdown actually counts at the end of the first half against Notre Dame -- how the refs blew that call I still don't know -- or Auburn doesn't miss a short field goal or clang one off the upright in overtime against Wisconsin we're talking about eight or nine wins for the conference, a new record for college football.

The SEC didn't win the NC this year, but it is still the strongest conference.

You guys are the crying about Alabama three months after they toasted your team and lost to the national champions. Based on tonight's game, Oregon and Florida State appear to be two teams that shouldn't have been in the playoff. The vols may never even make the playoff, ever.

I am a Tennessee fan. Not a Conference fan. I will not pull for alabammer no matter who they play. I do pull for the SEC out of conference with the exception of alabammer (because of Bandwagon Nation) and floriduh. If the only way to save the SEC is for me to pull for the Fighting Updykes I say let her burn! :smash:
