Hows the fishing?

Havent been out in a while due to vacationing, and getting prepared for deer season, and of course bow hunting on the weekends. I got a nice buck this weekend so Im going to break for a week and winterize and empty my gas tanks. Might as well fish while I due it right?

What are the bass hitting right now with all the cold weather peaking its head.

Hopefully somebody has an answer I can use too. Caught a few out at Priest this past Friday on crankbaits & rattle traps. Over the weekend fished Cheatham and didn't do much good at all.

Topwater baits have been good on KY Lake lately. Using the Topwater baits on chunk rock and pea gravel banks and on points has been pretty productive in some spots. Some people have been catching decent numbers of bass in the shallow bays/coves feeding on shad. The A-Rig has been working on north KY Lake also.
