Well I really didn't want to hunt alone today so Mike (m_allison71) volunteered to come down and hunt...Thanks for lunch Mike...Morning started out good...We heard gobbles but nothing came our way...We had several more stands ahead of us so no reason to worry...We parked at stand #2 this is a dead ringer...Turkeys are usually at this spot and if not give a minute and they will be there...We exited the truck and with in a few minutes heard a gobble...This bird was close so we acted quickly and set up...After a few short calls this bird went into stealth mode and came on in...I decided to take him at 40 yards cause he didn't act right...Before I shot Mike heard another gobble but after the shot we never heard it again...The rest of the day We spent looking for a bird but never could get on one...Our next stand produced several gobbles but no bird...Thanks Mike I am glad you made the trip...Hope you enjoy the shrooms we found...Oh yeah we found around 30 more shrooms...Good day for me I hope you had a good day too Mile thanks for coming out...

Congrats on the burd. Spit,I see how he is now. You told me about him. He tried his best last weekend not to put yall on a burd. He saves them all for himself.lol. DBLA- you need to come down with Spit to my place.

I would love to come down with Spit...I don't mind hiking with those boys but I save the killing for when they leave... ;)
