My wife just informed me that they are asking for deer donations in order to help feed the workers, service men and women, and volunteers that are helping with the disaster relief. Several processors throughout East Tennessee are participating. I know a lot of us are holding out for that big buck or not wanting to shoot our does, but I think this would be a very worthwhile effort from the TNDEER community if we can send some meat their way. I checked on tnwf.org/processors and found 2 participating processors in Claiborne County alone. It says it's free of charge as well. Just wanted to spread the word. I'll try to post the facebook post my wife showed me as well.
