All this talk of hog hunting sounds like fun. I have always wanted to go hog huntin, but woundn't have the first clue on where to start. If someone out there is putting something together, and needs a tag along, I'm in, as long as I can get off work.
You have to be a little postal to want to take up hog huntin.

Catchdawg, were those hogs on wma's or on private land.
They were on private land, but haven't heard of a single sighting since deer season so I'm assumeing they got wiped out. I live in south Bradley and don't know the area up there so I'm pretty much just going on what I've heard through the grapevine.

Hogs are tearin it up in the telico unit right now. Rootin everywhere you turn. Might have to start carrying a dog with me to the turkey woods.

WE SHOOTEM LIKE RATS DOWN HERE. HAD JOE AND GEORGE FROM A OTHER SITE COME DOWN, THEY DID'NT BELIEVE HOW BAD THEY ARE TILL WE DROVE ABOUT 1/2 MILE FROM THE HUNTIN CAMP AND SAW 20 IN ONE PACK GEORGE KILL A NICE BOAR AT ABOUT 275 LBS. AND IS HAVING HIM MOUNTED AND JOE KILLED ANOTHER ONE THAT WEIGHED ABOUT 250. IN ALL WE KILLED 8. THE RANCHER WANTED US TO KILL MORE BUT WE HAD FUN WITH WHAT WE DID KILL. THEY DESTROY MANY ACRES OF GRASS OVER NIGHT. SO THEY ARE MORE PESTS THAN ANYTHING ELSE.

I'm actually from florida and can compare the amount of sign I've been seeing in telico to some spots back home. Glad to see more and more around. I almost can't wait till turkey season ends so I can hang up the turkey vest and break out the cut vests.
