Hunting knife????

I got a Shrade that has gut hook. I've had it for at least 15 years, and field dressed at least 10 deer with it, and never had to sharpen it. I also got a gut hook knife I made.

I love a good sharp knife, I have several Buck 110's and they can be sharpened like a razor. I carry one every time I go afield.

But I use an Outdoor edge when it comes time to gut, skin and process a deer. When it dulls, you just slap a new razor sharp blade in it and keep working.

I use a SOl pivot knive/saw blade combo for gutting. Half Face Blades Crow JR for skinning and some butchering and a fillet knife for heat I don't use the HFB for.

Buck 110

I have a Buck 110. Great knife. Last dozen years though, I've been using a Buck 286 Bantam. Not just for hunting. I have a slightly smaller 285 that is a daily.

Buck 112, same shape as 110 but a slightly shorter blade.
