What is the law regarding a convicted felon and hunting in TN . Are they able to hunt with a bow or muzzleloader?

If I could only carry an archery piece, Id save up and invest in one of those short compact high speed crossbows.

I've always thought you can bow hunt all deer season long. I'd also look into those powerful air guns to see if those might be an option.

not in Tennessee. There's no air-gun allowance here yet.

There may be conditions of parole or probation that affect someone's ability to even carry a knife.

the law was amended after that opinion for antique firearms and muzzleloaders. violent felonies=no, non-violent felonies=probably.

It is felon specific, one broad yes or no doesnt cut it. Better see you lawyer and parole officer for more specific answers to your case
