since I am still getting used to using all the ones I have got, but I went by gander tonight to pick up a thermacell and ended up leaving with a woodhaven call. Got the scott ellis model. They didnt have the red wasp, but I got this one just cause of the cut and i figured it would sound more raspy than anything else I have...what few times I have used it, it sounds pretty good. Just gotta get it broken in.

If u can use a woodhaven u can use any of them. i used to use woodhavens but found some i could get the sound i wanted with less air. They took alot of air for me to get them to sound right. good luck with ur new call.

thanks....once i learned how to use em...I can pretty much get the basic sound I am looking for out of all of them. Each one just sounds a little different with the rasp / pitch of them. The woodhaven feels a little big, but it is still stiff and just needs a good breaking in. Ill test it out this weekend.

Good call. I have used one the last two years. With good success.
