Great season we had, love Josh Heupel!!

9. Tennessee (-2)

It was another solid season for Tennessee under Josh Heupel, finishing 10-3. Although it was a bit of a dud with a 42-17 loss to Ohio State in the first round of the College Football Playoff.

Nico Iamaleava is back next season so this team should be in SEC contention and make another run at the playoff. But they'll be thinking about what might have been with a one-and-done appearance this year.

Finished better than where I thought they would. Hopefully the way it ended in a beat down from Ohio State will serve as motivation. Time will tell. GBO!!! 🍊
Unfortunately unless it motivated some deep pocket boosters I'm not sure a whole lot will change! Either way, I sure enjoyed this season. GO VOLS!

Would you mind posting the final rankings this year? I wasn't sure where the gumps ended up. 😁

It was a great year. Especially with Nico not having the season most fans had hoped. Some his fault, some the Oline, and some WR.

The defense and Sampson carried the team.

Next year has a lot of the same unanswered questions, so it'll probably be another roller coaster. I'm glad we have both bballs to get us through the offseason.

It's a great time to be a TN fan.

I'm happy with the continued progress. Hoping to see Nico progress a bit more next year and the playbook give him more freedom to use those deer legs of his. Also, hoping some of the new receivers will provide better targets. Bit of a weaker spot this year than I expected. That said, Dylan Sampson was an absolute bruiser for us. Not something we can expect year over year and definitely delivered some games we wouldn't have won otherwise.

I'm just thankful we aren't living in the dark times still. Nice to be excited to watch games again
